    Jean Holloway was born October 10, 19... in Queens, New York. During a difficult childhood because of severe eczema, she became an avid reader. Books were her friend. Early in life, she found she was fascinated by the macabre. Her favorite genres are mystery, romance and horror.

    At thirteen, her biological mother died. A wife and mother by the time she reached seventeen, she ended up divorced at twenty. A year later, she met her second, current and final husband, Fred. They've been together over 37 years and raised six children. Jean is a grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of two!
